If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude,
then animals are better off than a lot of humans.

Picture of Keep Them Warm CampaignMany of our cats and dogs spend days outside, cold and hungry, before they are rescued. They rely on us to keep them warm and secure until they are adopted. It costs $1,500 to fill the oil tank. It will need to be filled more than one time this winter. We invite you to help us Keep Them Warm with a tax-deductible donation to our Fuel Fund. Send a check to Responsible Pet Care at P. O. Box 82 in Norway, ME 04268. Or, use PayPal on the right.

We always need volunteers to work in many area of the shelter and in our thrift shop. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Application and Release Form; and attend required training before volunteering at the shelter. Please download the application and return it to RPC. Our dogs love their Kuranda beds, but we don't have enough for all of our dogs. With a $50 donation you can become a member of the Kuranda Pet Bed Club. We will purchase a bed and include your name in our annual report as a club member. Send your check to the address on our home page (write "Kuranda" on your check) or use the PayPal button in the column on the right side of this page.
